According to our surveyor, Fox Den Cottage was built in the late 17th Century. It predates the two adjacent ones and was likely a humble weaver’s cottage. The building was Listed Grade II in 1985 for the rubble stone structure and stone tiled roof as well as the mullioned windows, timber casements, and fireplaces. Please take exceptional care if you open any of the very old windows.
