Use Everything!
Fox Den Cottage has many items on display. Feel free to use any of the bowls, jugs, dishes, and glassware. Just because it looks pretty, doesn't mean it can't be used! Just take care, clean it up when you are finished, and place it back for the next guests to find.
The tea, coffee, snacks, and milk are for your use. If you would like a cosy fire, there are some starter materials beside the wood burner.
Ordering Groceries
We like to have our groceries brought to us so we have more time to have fun!
We’ve used Waitrose, primarily. You will need to order a day or two in advance of when you want the delivery as the time slots fill up. The drivers will hand you trays full of items that you can take inside and empty. They’ll wait for you to return the tray and let you decide if you like any of the substitutions they made while shopping.
To place an order you will need an account, but it’s easy to set up. A good tip is to start an order for at least the minimum and select your time window. The web site will allow you to add until a certain time ahead of your delivery. Just set yourself an alarm so you don’t forget!
If you prefer to pick up your own groceries, there are several stores within a few miles with the closest in Chippenham.
Rubbish Pickup
Our housekeepers will generally handle the trash when they clean between guests. However here is additional information.
We have bins out front for your use marked "Hills Waste". The black bin with an orange lid is for recycling. Household waste belongs in the red bin. Glass goes into the green bin with a yellow lid.
